Position Summary:

The Analyst and Assistant Trader will support Portfolio Managers with trading, investment research, portfolio management, financial planning, and client communication.

Duties:

• Execute trades in client accounts
• Research new and existing investment opportunities for the investment committee
• Assist in management of client portfolios by:
• Selecting securities to sell to raise cash for client use
• Investing cash balances in recommended equity and income securities
• Rebalancing portfolios for specific situations

• Create and modify financial plans for clients
• Answer client questions and assist with client service issues
• Provide support for business development activities
• Help onboard new clients
• Complete special projects and research as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of work experience in financial services preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Demonstrated quantitative skills and attention to detail
• Written and verbal communication skills
