The Role:
We are currently looking for a mid-level colleague to form a critical part of the Global Finance team, based in Singapore. This role is an excellent opportunity for a person with accounting and investment or corporate finance background to join our team reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) and make a significant impact on the data-driven analysis and financial modelling of our existing businesses as well as pipeline of investments.

The Role:
We are currently looking for a mid-level colleague to form a critical part of the Global Finance team, based in Singapore. This role is an excellent opportunity for a person with accounting and investment or corporate finance background to join our team reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) and make a significant impact on the data-driven analysis and financial modelling of our existing businesses as well as pipeline of investments.
The Remit:
- Develop sophisticated dynamic, data-driven financial models to support budgeting/forecasting of existing businesses and investment opportunities
- Work closely with the Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager and local Finance Teams on budgeting and reporting
- Develop data-driven insights to assist the Group CFO on strategic direction
- Support the Group CFO as focal check and balance for new investment opportunities, funding & hedging, and capital & resource allocation discussions, providing a strategic and logical perspective
- Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to ensure continued alignment with other functional teams
- Ad-hoc projects as directed by the Group CFO
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, economics, business, math/statistics, engineering or related area
- Accounting qualification (CA or CPA)
- 4-8 years of work experience
- At least 2 years work experience at Big Four (Deloitte, EY, KPMG or PwC) or equivalent consulting firm
- At least 2 years of very advanced Excel financial modelling, preferably in an investment bank, fund manager or top-tier accounting or consulting firm
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, and a passion for data-driven numbers and insights
Bonus Points:
- MBA, Master in Finance or CFA (at least Level 2 passed)
- Exposure building models on financial services companies (banks, non-banks, fintechs)
- Exposure in structure finance, securitisations or credit risk
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Tableau or Power BI
- Intermediate understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Intermediate ability in VBA coding
