Overview:
Our municipal bond team manages over $2.0 billion in assets among its five municipal exchange traded funds (ETFs) and four distinct separately managed account strategies. Barron’s ranked the municipal bond team in its top five fund families in 2016 and 2017. The municipal bond investment team is currently seeking a Municipal Bond Research Analyst.
Responsibilities and Duties:
We are currently seeking a Research Analyst for our Municipal Bond Investment Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing surveillance and new issue credit reviews of municipal borrowers across a multitude of sectors; researching and writing sector reports with an emphasis on identifying risks and opportunities across municipal bond industries; gathering and interpreting data for preparation of monthly marketing and sales literature; assisting in the preparing of the municipal team’s quarterly review and outlook; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; progress towards a CFA or MBA preferred; strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; at least three years of excellent research skills preferred; ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team as well as individual environment; ability to handle multiple projects under time constraints.
