Opportunity 

TriWest is seeking an Associate to join the firm’s investment team. The individual will work closely with other investment professionals at TriWest and will generally participate in all aspects of the investment process, including: 

  • Identifying and investigating investment opportunities 
  • Performing due diligence and industry research 
  • Building financial models and assisting in developing financial structures 
  • Conducting financial and valuation analysis 
  • Working with and supporting portfolio company management teams 

Qualifications 

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 

  • Ideally one to two years’ experience at a leveraged buyout private equity firm or prominent investment bank (with mergers & acquisitions experience) 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to operate as a self-starter as part of a small transaction team 
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and valuations 
  • Significant financial analytical skills, including demonstrated acquisition modeling experience 
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail
