Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Investment Financial Analyst (M&A) based in Edinburgh paying upto £51,000 plus fantastic bonus & company benefits.

The Role
The position of Investment Financial Analyst will sit within its corporate development team and support the company with its M&A strategy.
The role would ideally be suited to an individual seeking to make their first move into industry from a Corporate Finance background - M&A, Transactional Services, Valuations.

On Offer
The position of Investment Financial Analyst will offer upto £51,000 plus fantastic bonus and benefits. The offices are based in Edinburgh city centre and easily accessible via public transport. The role will begin as remote working with all the necessary equipment provided.
You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:
  • Reporting to and deputising for the Head of Investments & Corporate Development
  • Providing support, direction and guidance to ensure the company delivers on its M&A strategy
  • Involved in a number of high value and business critical projects
  • Assessing new and existing projects including investment appraisals & due diligence process
  • Creation and development of complex financial models to support financing and M&A opportunities
  • Creation and development of investment papers to support M&A opportunities
  • Working closely with commercial and mainstream finance to support other business objectives & priorities
  • Periodic, adhoc and bespoke reporting including ability to present to senior stakeholders
  • Building relationships and coordinating with external stakeholders & advisers
  • Adhoc duties
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
  • Qualified CA or CFA - ESSENTIAL
  • Practical Corporate Finance experience: M&A, Transactional Services, Valuations - ESSENTIAL
  • Proficient financial modelling skills - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to liaise, interact and influence with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
