Responsibilities
- To attain effective product control and valuation control related to interest rate products and derivatives, such as daily valuation, independent price verification, P&L analysis, hedge accounting assessment and market conformity checking
- Participate in treasury business development or related system enhancement projects
- Strengthen product control functions, streamline or revamp work flow and maintain related policy and procedures
- Assist in model verification and other quantification projects
- Other ad-hoc tasks
- Degree with major in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Risk Management, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related disciplines. Possessing professional qualification in Finance (such as CFA, FRM) is an advantage
- 4 year of working experience in interest related treasury products and/or product control (such as asset backed securities, interest rate derivatives). Less experience will be considered as assistant manager
- Knowledge in treasury products' related accounting standards. Solid hand-on experience in treasury system (such as Murex system) is an advantage
- Proficiency in financial instruments & market operations (especially in the area of interest related product and valuation control)
- Independent, responsible, strong analytical abilities and good time management
- Good communication skill. Excellent in both written and oral English and Chinese, Mandarin preferred
- Sound Knowledge and experience in VBA, SQL or related programming languages (C++ or Java) preferred
