CTC - myCFO provides individuals, families and family offices with objective investment management, advisory and family office services. We have deep expertise and focus on the unique and complex needs of private wealth. As part of BMO Wealth Management, we deliver our services through CTCmyCFO, LLC, a registered investment advisor, BMO Harris Bank N.A. and BMO Delaware Trust. Our core services to families include investment management, advisory and research, capital advisory, tax strategy, philanthropic planning, and fiduciary. Our client base is national.

The ultra-high net worth (UHNW) Private Wealth Advisor will act as the primary point of contact for UHNW prospect relationships. This sales and relationship management role will attract, retain and grow a portfolio of UHNW prospect relationships. The Private Wealth Advisor will demonstrate the understanding of the unique needs of UHNW clients and centers of influence. Utilizing an advisory-based, ensemble approach, the Private Wealth Advisor will originate, lead and manage prospect opportunities and proactively coordinate subject matter experts and UHNW teams to design solutions to meet prospects and clients specific needs.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with centers of influence and UHNW referral sources, nationally. - Develop and maintain expertise necessary to identify, diagnose, communicate, and evaluate the complex needs of UHNW prospects and appropriate CTC - myCFO solutions.
  • Lead and assist with the creation, management, and implementation of prospect presentations, client relationship plans, relationship reviews, and financial plans.
  • Lead and assist CTC - myCFO discipline heads and lead relationship managers to present and expand services and solutions with existing UHNW clients.
  • Lead agenda preparation for each meeting and pre work with teams to ensure effective coordination of multiple disciplines across multiple offices.
  • Plan client calls effectively and systematically and monitor client base for opportunities to leverage existing relationships. Ensure all client experience and proactive outreach standards are met.
  • Lead annual client reviews with team members to evaluate changing needs, increase communication with client, and implement the client experience.
  • Assist lead relationship managers in preparing a written report on the value that was provided to the client as part of the client review meeting.
  • Participate in appropriate industry organizations such as FOX and IPI thru attendance and speaking engagements.
  • Assist with prospect and client entertainment; follow up with clients on invitations to events/activities.
  • Develop prospect and client loss analyses, and make recommendations to improve business development and client experience processes in increase closing ratios and client retention.
  • Receive introductions from and make introductions to BMO partners in Commercial, Investment Banking; Mortgage Lending, BHFA, Premier Banking or Retail Banking for client or client family members and friends.
    Evaluate client base for proper channel alignment, and recommend more appropriate channel partners if client no longer fits CTC - myCFO target market criteria.
  • Work to solidify team behaviors; bridge the disciplines together in all client communications.
  • Provide consistently superior service by exceeding clients expectations while understanding and complying with BMO policies and governmental regulations.


Knowledge:
  • 7+ years of experience in dealing with UHNW clients and equivalent knowledge base.
  • Broad knowledge of all facets of wealth management and the complex needs of UHNW clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of CTC - myCFO services and capabilities.


Education:
  • Bachelors Degree Required.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, CAIA, JD or equivalent a plus.
