Risk Officer - Chinese Speaker

You will have the opportunity to join a growing team, develop knowledge across banking products and gain exposure to all areas of the bank. Our client is looking for someone with 3-6 years' experience, who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and keen to learn.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify, monitor and control risks across the whole bank; be involved in risk mitigation, and appropriate solutions to reduce risk exposure
• Be proactive in developing processes to identify and evaluate risk; effect gap analysis and implementing new solutions; update policy and procedures
• Manage stakeholder expectations and escalations to senior management; be part of risk committees and able to present updates to wide audience including Head Office
• Review new products of the bank and evaluate their impact from an operational risk
• Involved in report preparation to Head Office, CSSF, BCL including ICAAP, Pillar III, and stress testing...

To be successful in this role, you will need the following experience:

• At least a minimum of 3-6 years of proven risk management experience and understanding of accounting practices in the banking sector (e.g. operational risk in banking sector or Big 4 with banking focus)
• Have a Finance related degree and/or CFA, FRM or other equivalent certification
• You will have a broad understanding of the activities and responsibilities in an International banking sector including products
• Wide knowledge of the regulations affecting banks in Luxembourg
• Must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Have a continuous improvement mind-set and look for opportunities to improve risk frameworks, controls and mitigate risk across the Business.
• Be fluent English and Chinese is mandatory.
