Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk assessments and review the assessments on the credit proposals of SME & Mid Cap clients submitted by front line officers; exercise credit judgment; and make sound credit recommendations and/or decisions
  • Perform pro-active on-going credit monitoring and risk management on the client as well as portfolio level;
  • Ensure all internal credit policies and procedures are adhered to and help to develop or enhance such policies and procedures;
  • Ensure on-going compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct periodical & ad hoc credit reports to be presented to Senior Management;
  • Formulate and review the related approval policies and procedures to ensure compliance with in-house and statutory requirements
Requirements:
  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years ' experience in credit management. Candidate with less experience may consider as Credit Risk Manager
  • Familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements on monitoring the local practice of corporate credit management
  • Professional qualifications in CFA, CPA, PRMIA-PRM, and GARP-FRM preferred
  • Good knowledge of the general banking operations of corporate banking industry and its related products and services
  • Self-initiated, analytical-minded, and able to handle multi-tasks under tight schedule
  • Good communication and presentation skills with excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in computer applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
