We are looking for a self-motivated, analytical and organised On-Boarding Analyst to join our Business Operational Support area, which is part of our Northern Hemisphere IT and Operations team based in Lisbon.

What does the Business Operational Support (BOS) area do?

 

BOS gives full support to the Officers and Sales Desks, with technical support, client on boarding and trades registry. It is the interface between the Front Areas and Operational Areas of the bank in line with the guidelines of the Executive Committee, standards and procedures, applicable legal requirements and tax, ensuring compliance with the obligations imposed on the institution and customer satisfaction.

 

What would be your main responsibilities?

We would expect that with great prioritisation skills you switch from task to task and understand what requires immediate attention at any given moment.

 

Your key responsibilities would include:

  • Coordinating the KYC and KYS performance for the bank
  • On boarding according to Compliance policies
  • Monitoring the daily transactions to identify KYC breaches
  • Preparing KYC statistical report for compliance monitoring
  • Liaising with the front office to perform KYC renewals

 

What skills / experience do we need from you?

 

We are looking for the following education, knowledge and experience:

  • Strong academic record with university degree in Finance, Law or Management (essential)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services (essential); Private banking experience (desirable)
  • International experience (an advantage)
  • Knowledge about, and interest in, Latin America (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
