Key responsibilities;
- Manage a variety of Sterling credit portfolios to meet client objectives and achieve outperformance targets, utilising available investment resources and adhering to the team-based investment process and client guidelines
- Contribute to portfolio strategy, market and thematic discussion and the implementation of the themes outputs
- Bring a strong understanding of top-down and bottom up research and conduct relative value analysis for idea generation
- Be responsible for monitoring the consistency and key risks between different portfolios and interacting closely with GTT to ensure timely and accurate execution of trades across client portfolios
Key skills;
- Have a strong academic background. An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred and relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA) or progress towards one, will be viewed favourably
- Have significant experience in credit portfolio management, preferably in both benchmarked and semi-active (buy and maintain) strategies although candidates from other relevant experience will also be considered
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of and interest in, global financial markets and investing
- Be able to work collaboratively across the firm and have strong interpersonal skills in order to interact effectively with investment and other
