Responsibilities include:
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
• Work with the global team in sourcing and qualifying new opportunities
• Provide pre-sales support in the form of presentations to prospective clients
• In conjunction with Global Banks colleagues and their Client Success team, cultivate existing relationships with clients to reinforce the perception that the organisation is a premium brand in the credit space
• Be able to explain the conceptual and practical value of our services to a wide variety of audiences (senior management, traders, bankers, risk managers, business managers, procurement, etc.)
• Attend and represent the organisation at various conferences related to credit
• Keep abreast of latest trends in the credit markets (products / structures, issuance volumes, staffing plans, etc.)
• Work with Analyst Teams, Product Development, and Marketing groups to both give client and market feedback, as well as aid the product development process
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field (economics, finance, math/statistics/accounting); MBA and/or CFA a plus but not required
• Minimum 5 years sales experience
• Sales professionals should be from a research, financial analytics or risk management vendor, preferably with experience selling to the front office of global banks
• Knowledge of, and/or experience in the credit capital markets (bonds, credit derivatives, loans) preferred
• Self-starter - proactive, detail-oriented, and diligent with regard to follow-up with prospects and clients; comfortable creating lots of sales activity through calls and in person meetings
• Outstanding presentation and oral communication skills, including to very senior audiences; comfortable speaking in front of large groups
• Up to 25% travel required
