Our client is looking for an experienced individual with strong tax or M&A experience who will report into the Finance Director and work in a fund and transactions support team.
The role is varied and you will be working closely with the investment team and external advisors.
Core duties will include financial and tax due diligence, reviewing financial models and restructuring opportunities.
More specifically you will perform the below duties:
- Financial due diligence of new target investments.
- Financial appraisal of target investments.
- Tax structuring of investments and holding structures.
- Optimising investment structures for shareholder cash extraction.
- Active role in developing strategies to optimise returns from existing assets and investment opportunities.
- Business partnering to the wider business, providing financial expertise, review and structuring advice.
- Review and interrogation of financial models.
Candidate Requirements:
- Have significant post qualified experience and hold either a CFA/ACA of equivalent
- Ideally have experience of infrastructure and/or fund structures
- Have experience of managing a team
- Be well versed in Excel and have a working knowledge of financial models (macros and VBA preferable but not essential)
