NZ Equity Analysts – 2 Roles

ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury.  We are looking for two insightful equity analysts to add to our NZ listed equity team. This is a rare opportunity to join a long-standing team at one of New Zealand’s largest and most successful fund managers.

The roles available are for both an Equity Analyst and a Senior Equity analyst in the NZ Equities team based in Wellington.

We are interested in meeting with experienced equity analysts who are interested in either or both of these roles and will be looking to match the best candidates with the roles that we believe would best suit their particular talents and interests. We seek experienced analysts for each of these roles, but may also be interested in engaging with strong candidates for the Analyst role who have relevant experience or qualifications, but may not have previously worked as an equity analyst.  Applicants who are not NZ citizens will need to hold a current residency or work visa.

The key objectives of these positions are to undertake research and identify investment opportunities that will contribute towards ACC’s listed equity portfolios achieving risk adjusted that are superior to what ACC could achieve from passively investing in listed equity markets.

The successful candidates for these roles will have experience at producing high quality research on listed companies, and will be used to taking a long-term view on the prospects and valuation of listed companies.  They will be intelligent, have high financial literacy, and a strong moral compass, and will ideally have knowledge of many of the companies and sectors that they would be asked to cover.

At ACC, we recognise that diversity, inclusion and accessibility are important to our business, our people and our customers.  We embrace the unique perspective and capabilities of our people now and into the future who help us continue to build a culture of involvement, respect and connection for our people and with all of New Zealand.

We would love to hear from you if you feel you are a good fit – applications will only be accepted when formally submitted through our ACC Career Website.  To request a copy of the position descriptions, please contact Ali Ward, Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at ali.ward@acc.co.nz.

Applications will run through to Sunday 17 November 2019 but please note that if an ideal candidate is found during this time we will move forward with screening and interviewing sooner.
