Research Associate - REIT (New York, NY) for Evercore Partners Services East LLC to conduct fundamental research on public REITs & real estate operation companies mainly in the US. Reqs Bach's deg in Finance or rltd field of study, & 2 yrs of exp as Analyst, Research Associate, Product Associate or rltd jobs in Finance, Business or rltd field. Will accept Master's deg & 1 yr of exp in lieu of Bach's deg & 2 yrs of exp. Exp specified must incl 2 yrs of exp (or 1 yr of exp if Master's deg) w/ each of the following: performing quantitative analysis using Bloomberg & FactSet; dvlpg & updating company-specific fin'l models; performing fin'l & valuation analysis of covered companies; Net Asset Value analysis, DCF valuation, & comparable valuation; authoring industry & company-specific research reports; overseeing data collection & monitor investor news svcs; explaining mkt events utilizing quantitative & analytical skills; MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint); organizing & tracking overlapping tasks & assignments, w/ frequent priority changes; & utilizing general acctg & finance principles.
