The company has aggressive plans for growth in China, and is committed to the China market in its long term plan. Recently, it is developing the market rapidly especially in the area of logistics and warehouse industry. Hence, there is a need for a immediate hire of a Finance Manager to take care of the finance function of the current and upcoming projects.

This role is based in Shanghai and reports to the SVP of Finance and as well as the VP of Portfolio team. As this is newly created role, the Finance Manager is expected to take a hands-on-approach in the day to day financials such as overseeing the accounting bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, valuation process, and as well as managing the preparation of the financial reports and tax reporting.

Being in a flat and highly collegial organization, everybody in th team including senior management work side by side, and hence the Finance Manager would be expected to work closely with the investment team in terms of investment modelling projection.

As more projects are being acquired and developed, the Finance Manager would be expected to supervise the accounting team to fulfill internal and external reporting requirements. This role would also require the Finance Manager to participate in communications with internal and external departments and to maintain positive relationship with tax authority, auditors and bank.

Requirement
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Those with CPA or CFA is a plus
  • Should have at least 8 years of working experience in finance accounting and reporting position, preferably in the real estate development and logistics project development industry
  • Proficient in English and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
  • Well organized and able to work independently as well as with team members
