As a Sr. Quality Analyst will be an integral member of our team, provide software testing services in an Agile environment to contribute to product success and ultimately create more value for our customers. Areas of focus for this position include: developing, modifying, and executing manual software test plans, analyzing and writing test standards and procedures, maintaining documentation of results and working closely with the our cross-functional Production and Software Development teams. Initially the role will lean heavily towards manual testing with long term goals of establishing automation. 

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in creating and executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

  • Review and analyze system specifications Collaborate with Engineers and Trading team to develop effective strategies and test plans Execute test cases and analyze results Evaluate product code according to specifications Create logs to document testing phases and defects Report bugs and errors to development teams Help troubleshoot issues Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Qualifications:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field
  • 3 plus Years’ experience as a Quality Analyst tester or similar role Experience in project management and QA methodology Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing Excellent communication skills Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude Great attention to detail and a results driven approach Strong organizational skills

Additional preferred technical experience:

  • CFA or other investment designation preferred.
  • Understanding of financial services, wealth management, asset management, investments preferred.
  • Experience using test case management and defect tracking solutions
  • Demonstrates aptitude for analytical problem-solving
  • Proficiency designing, developing, and maintaining test cases and test suites including manual testing procedures such as smoke/regression/integration testing
  • Proven record of successful execution in cross-team collaborative environments
  • Creating and validating data using Python, R
