What it's about
This position offers an excellent opportunity for you to join the Operational Risk Management (ORM) team, which directly reports to the Chief Risk Officer. You will be able to apply your risk management skills and experience to contribute strengthening our ORM practice across the company. This is an excellent career opportunity to gain exposure to all business areas of Partners Group.
Your main tasks will be:
  • Conduct detailed risk analyses including comprehensive management reporting.
  • Define, track and report relevant key risk indicators (KRIs) to actively manage operational risks.
  • Further develop concepts related to the overall ORM framework as assigned by the Head ORM.
  • Administer and further develop the firm's operational Internal Control System (ICS).
  • Support the coordination of the annual ISAE 3402 Controls Report with external auditors.
  • Be part of control reviews to assess completeness and suitability of controls in relation to new or amended business processes and systems.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as mandated by the Head ORM.
  • Work with business users to jointly review, design and implement effective processes and controls.

What we expect
  • Top academic credentials, i.e. Master's or Bachelor's degree (Quantitative field or Finance or Business Administration).
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in one of the following sectors: Banking / Financial services / Consultancy.
  • Excellent analytical skills; logical thinker; ability to drill down to details while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
  • Structured and organized working style.
  • Good understanding of the three lines of defence model.
  • Ambitious and driven individual, prepared to take self-initiative and work towards tight deadlines.
  • Experience in programming language (e.g. SQL, VBA) is considered an advantage.
  • CFA considered an advantage.
