Candidate Requirements
Portfolio Analysis - 25% of role
- To Assist with ongoing analysis, monitoring and reporting on existing and future Portfolio investments, including review of monthly management reports and Board information packs, where relevant.
- Review of legal agreements, bond indentures, bank facility agreements and securities documentation related to Portfolio investments as required by the Company's Investment Team.
- Write and present structurally sound proposals and plans in relation to Portfolio investments in coordination with the Company's Investment Team on an ad hoc basis.
Marketing - 25% of role
- Contribute to the execution and enhancement of the Company's social media strategy including that of its main client, a London listed investment company.
- Contribute to the execution and enhancement of the Company's public relations strategy including drafting of capital markets announcements, drafting monthly market commentary in coordination with the Company's Investment Team, contributing to the upkeep of website content and conducting ad hoc analysis related to the promotion of the Company's London listed investment company client as directed by senior management.
- Provide support for the maintenance and enhancement of the marketing materials in conjunction with the Company's Marketing Team.
Business and Strategic Development - 40% of role
- Interfacing with the Company's and its clients' external service providers including accountants, lawyers, corporate brokers and research firms as directed by senior management.
- Coordinating and drafting comments in response to equity research drafts generated by equity research houses.
- Coordinating Board Meetings of the Company's listed investment company client, including generating accurate minutes.
Team Development - 10% of role
- Monitor and mentor Interns.
- Other duties as directed.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree qualified.
- 1-3 years investment banking or public company corporate development experience.
- Familiarity with London equity capital markets.
- Professional qualifications will be an advantage e.g. CFA
- Business level proficiency in an Asian language will be an advantage e.g. Mandarin
- Demonstrable project management skills.
- Articulate presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrable proficiency in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
