The Role Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Chennai team, to coordinate and deliver all BAU processes and activities undertaken within Service Charges including timely delivery, robust analytical review of key deliverables, strengthening controls, and pro-active stakeholder engagement.
  • Own the delivery of Allocated Cost information and transparency in the Singapore time-zone, facing off with key stakeholders and addressing queries, ad-hoc reporting requirements, and continued improvement of digital MI.
  • Support system implementations and Change management, covering inputs, validations and control reviews.
  • Planning critical paths for Budget, Forecasting and Actuals deliveries, working closely with the Planning Team, Finance IT and Returns team to ensure system readiness, and coordination of inter-dependent processes.
  • Develop critical thinking, problem solving, structuring and presentation capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the Group including Businesses, Regions, and Functions.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • The ideal candidate would have post qualification experience and in-depth knowledge of Management Reporting, Planning & Forecasting processes within the financial services sector and relevant key measures that drives effectiveness of these processes.
  • Specific experience in expense and service recharge processes (or equivalent) of a complex multinational banking Group a preference.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; a strong self-starter with natural intellectual curiosity; an ability to think both strategically and analytically and apply these skills into meaningful outcomes for the Group
  • A team-player, with the ability and desire to work at all levels; down in the detail and mechanics when required, and face-off to stakeholders and senior management
  • Possess a strong control mindset, with excellent critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in operating within large virtual teams and relationships across a complex network of stakeholders.
  • High standard of written English, with the ability to review, summarise and communicate material accurately and succinctly.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while delivering quality output to senior management.
  • CA or CFA Qualified Accountant.
