Cantor Fitzgerald: Head of Underwriting, Cantor Commercial Real Estate
The Head of Underwriting is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and direction to underwriters and to ensure that underwriting conforms to the firms prescribed underwriting standards. The person would work closely with Originations, Underwriting, Securitization, Trading and Management on both conduit loans and SASB transactions.
The role must ensure the Underwriting team complies with the goals, objectives and standards of the organization. Additionally responsibilities include coordination with internal Credit and Closing teams as well as borrowers, third party vendors and investors (with support of the Securitization and Trading desks).
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of credit and commercial real estate experience with an emphasis on CMBS
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills
- Familiarity with applicable industry data systems and methodologies
- Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, CFA, or other relevant advanced degree
