The Asia Fixed Income Team is primarily responsible for (a) generating thematic and tactical trade ideas for credit, OTC and rate products, (2) conducting due diligence on macro trends and underlying recommendations, (3) provision of portfolio construction and reviews, (4) marketing trade ideas to internal and external clients, and (5) trading and execution.

The Private Bank Fixed Income and Trading Desk (a) develops market views; (b) investigates and determines the best execution vehicles to express market views, both tactical and longer-term; (c) markets investment ideas; and (d) executes Fixed Income. An opportunity exists for a Credit Analyst to join our Fixed Income team.


  • Build a robust Fixed Income investment framework for the Asia private bank platform by conducting fundamental credit research, meeting with issuers and research providers, and writing thorough credit reports
  • Develop and own views on Asian credits, market the same to global audience, work with global teams on global credit views for Asian clients
  • Identify investment recommendations and trading ideas on an ongoing basis, work with the entire Fixed Income team to market the same to internal and internal audience
  • Contribute to global fixed income investment strategy meetings and cross asset-class capital market idea generation sessions
  • Own the processes and systems and keep improving the due diligence platform by liaising with partners and stakeholders

  • Must possess 3-5 years' experience in credit research, preferably past work experience in either buy-side or sell-side
  • Proficiency with public financial statements and financial models
  • Fluency in Asian local languages (Mandarin preferable)
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented and have the ability to handle multiple projects on tight deadline
  • CFA charter holder is a plus
