Overview of the Role
Our Central European Advisory Service team is seeking a Sales Associate to service our growing client base out of the Frankfurt office. The successful candidate would be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the firm's institutional clients in the DACH countries, reporting to the Head of Central Europe Advisory Services.

The role would offer an opportunity to work with the biggest institutional investors in the region across the broadest possible set of investment products. The firm supports the successful candidate with training in product knowledge, process & systems, and relationship management skills.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Help drive sales across the region together with senior sales personnel, and support the regional head
• Proactively engage clients on conversations around investment themes and outlook, help to arrange meetings, visit, training etc.
• Manage client queries on portfolio related matters. Follow through on issues with relevant internal teams
• Coordinate client portfolio reviews or ad-hoc conference calls with clients and investment teams
• Support senior sales personnel in preparation of roadshows, client meetings, in due diligence and onboarding process
• Proactively identifying new business opportunities by completing ongoing screens and staying abreast of current manager searches
• Participating in and working with relationship managers to prep for client meetings both for new business opportunities and ongoing due diligence with clients
• Regularly monitor portfolio performance and work with senior sales to defend at risk mandates
• Execute new and terminated investment mandates through coordination with various operations teams and client service team
• Develop strong internal relationships with portfolio managers, product specialists and other teams globally to enhance delivery of our services to clients; continually seek process and service improvements
• Manage client and sales activity information in the client relationship management system
• Coordinating regulatory & tax client requirements with product teams to provide eligible products to the clients in DACH region

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required
• Demonstrable experience in financial services, asset management industry experience preferred
• Degree in related field (Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing)
• Self-motivated individual, with the ability to take ownership to ensure outcomes are achieved
• Effective communication skills
• Track record of building strong working partnerships and effectively managing client expectations
• CFA qualification preferred, but not necessary
