Our client, a financial company based in Lausanne , we are currently looking for :
Credit Risk Officer H/F 100%
Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and maintenance of Risk Management policies, guidelines and procedures across the Group;
Contribute to the development of appropriate risk management systems; ensure appropriate data quality in risk systems and implement regular controls.
Contribute to the implementation of appropriate risk measurement and reporting across risks and tradition entities; ensure escalation procedures are in place.
Provide support, education and training o staff to build risk awareness within the organization. Counterparty and country risk
Conduct credit assessments and provide sound and independent rating/credit opinions on a wide array of financial institutions spread across the globe acting as counterparties.
Perform regular reviews of the portfolio of counterparties and adjust credit limits as needed. Monitor macro-economic, market indicators and daily news to follow trends and risks within the market.
Interact with Front-office on transaction approvals and support a credit hotline.
Perform various risk reports.
Improve the credit risk management system.
Contribute to the development of quantitative risk calculation models and counterparty rating models.
Operational, liquidity, market risk: additional input might be required from time to time.
Liaise as needed with Local Risk Managers.
Profile
Required skills
University degree in Finance or Business administration, CFA an advantage.
Deep understanding of credit and country risk issues.
Advanced knowledge of credit analysis on financial institutions (banks, funds, hedge funds, insurances), experience on corporates an advantage.
Min 4-8years of experience as credit officer covering a portfolio of financial institutions with exposure to emerging markets
Knowledge of operational risk and investment funds a plus
Analytical mind.
Fast and reliable execution, attention to details.
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Team player, but also able to work independently.
Flexible, excellent communication skills with management as well as operational staff.
Good IT skills. Advanced knowledge of bloomberg an advantage
Fluency in English, French ; other languages a plus
