This is a unique opportunity in their delegated investment team where they are looking for a direct fundamental equity analyst to join as an Associate Director for their global equity manager research team in London. The team covers the large assets under management across advisory for their institutional clients and has £100bn AuM in delegated investments.

In this position you will be at the forefront of the sourcing new investment managers and getting into the fundamentals of equity portfolios. Working alongside the Portfolio Managers to ensure they have the best investment managers populated across their funds. Sector coverage will be across Asian, Emerging Markets, Frontier, European, Global, UK and US markets to meet the demand of investors. You will be monitoring existing strategies as well as sourcing and analysing new investment ideas globally.

For the delegated aspect of the role, you will have direct input in the designing of the solutions, asset allocation to the overall portfolio construction and the launching of new funds. Through assessing fund managers, you will be looking into the long-term return sustainability with a focus on ESG criteria.

Reporting into the Head of Equity Research where you will have global exposure and the autonomy in covering the latest equity investment strategies, meeting new fund managers, networking and global travel.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Equity research experience through researching asset managers or, preferably, direct company analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling
  • CFA qualified
