The Real Money FX Sales Team is responsible for the marketing and delivery of State Street Global Markets Principal FX Liquidity to institutional asset managers and owners. As part of the growth strategy, the team is looking to hire a sales person whose key responsibilities include:
  • To be a FX subject matter expert and act as a primary point of contact for clients wishing to use SSGMs Principal FX Services
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned clients and build strong client relationships to facilitate wallet share growth
  • Market and develop assigned sales territories in order to identify institutional FX trading relationships and capture new business opportunities
  • Build a focused franchise through concise market analysis, data valuation, and recommendations
  • Work closely with market traders to execute spot and forward FX transactions
  • Taking initiative to achieve sales performance goals by executing a sales plan
  • Leverage technology and data to drive effective business growth
  • Provide access to value added services such as research and eFX
  • Be fully aware of all procedures, best practices, escalation policies, and other codes of conduct relevant to the execution of the role

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree required; Master's degree or CFA preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in FX or related markets
  • Demonstrate knowledge of FX products and market structure, ideally undergoing additional market courses or education
  • Proven track record of customer service orientation clients and effective presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment under high pressure
  • Creativity, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn continuously
  • Strong numeracy
  • Proven high ethical standard
