Our client, a leading asset management company, is seeking (Senior) Manager, M&A & Corporate Strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing projects, support on project execution, design and develop innovative long term business strategies that maximize the return on investments, producing leading-edge business models and addressing specific problems / opportunities
  • Stay abreast of market trends / competitor actions and changes in regulatory landscape. Provide input on the financial and business implications of business strategies, analysis and recommendations to senior management / key project stakeholders
  • Manage project stakeholders internally and externally to define, develop and ensure successful execution of the company's business growth strategies
  • Support all aspects of corporate merger / acquisition / disposal activities that may required, including leading due diligence / feasibility studies / transaction process
  • Co-ordinate the completion of status reporting for projects at different working levels, including project status reports, monthly status reports to the region and steering committee
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Requirements
  • University degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or related field. MBA / CFA or accounting qualification is well-regarded
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience; prior consulting / M&A / project management role in financial industry / asset & wealth industry is preferred
  • Strong technical background and excellent project management skills
  • Knowledge of complex principles of financial analysis, business methodology and managerial thought
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Hands on experience in documentation, project administrative support and project financials
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Knowledge on the emerging asset management sector in China would be an advantage
