The wealth manager’s job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and acquiring new business/clients;
- Cultivating new and existing referral sources;
- Reviewing and staying current with relevant investment and trade news that impacts stocks held by firm;
- Continually researching to identify and analyze new investment opportunities for firm’s clients;
- Preparing planning packages for new clients;
- Carrying out necessary client trading;
- Staying informed daily on pertinent economic, market, political trends;
- Writing firm’s quarterly newsletter (700 words max);
- Cross-training on the operations of the firm’s portfolio management software; and
- Handling in timely fashion all client service requests/needs.
