333 Capital is an independent Australian corporate advisory team specialising in M&A transactions and corporate finance roles for large private and ASX listed mid-cap clients. Our approach focusses on tailored client solutions with exceptional service, true independence and dedicated senior management engagement. We are entrepreneurial in our thinking and aligned to client outcomes with a strong track record of transaction success.

333 Capital's small team of experienced professionals, with investment banking and corporate advisory backgrounds, are based in Sydney and Melbourne. Given our growing client base we are looking to hire an Associate Director to join our existing team in Melbourne.

The role

You will be supporting Managing Directors and Directors to deliver high quality advice to clients on various transactions (buy side, sell side, capital raising and IPOs). You will assist with transaction execution including research, analysing business models, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence management and preparing reports. You will also support the Managing Directors and Directors in generating business development ideas and executing on these ideas as well as helping in the development of the junior team members. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with an experienced team across all stages of a transaction and gain direct client exposure.

What we are looking for

Candidates will preferably have five to ten years' work experience gained in investment banking or the corporate advisory area of a professional services firm. You will have a genuine hunger to be involved in and complete transactions for our clients.

Required skills include:
  • Strong financial analysis, valuation and research skills;
  • Ability to undertake complex financial modelling (including the ability to build complex integrated financial models from scratch);
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to lead both client meetings and meetings with various transaction stakeholders in a competent manner;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on work quality (producing deliverables which are client ready);
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to manage an M&A process;
  • Ability to think critically and take initiative whilst demonstrating team-oriented values; and
  • Tertiary qualifications in an accounting or finance related field (CA or CFA is desirable).

You will thrive on a challenge and be motivated by delivering a consistent high quality of work and superior client service experience, with the drive to develop a successful career.

In return, we offer a dynamic team-oriented workplace with competitive remuneration packages and ongoing learning and development, and the opportunity to play a key role in transactions with substantial responsibility early on in a small team environment.
