CIB - Equity Research - Beverage, Household & Personal Care Products - Associate

As a research associate in Equity Research, you help toconduct and facilitate industry analysis and company-specific coverage. Thisinvolves core research ranging from dissecting earnings releases and regulatoryfilings to assessing relevant news events, modeling financial statements andindustry dynamics, performing detailed valuation work, writing research notesand sector pieces, and speaking to internal/external clients and managementteams about the stocks/sector. You will work with our partners in bothsales and trading to provide comprehensive client coverage, includingfulfilling client requests for market updates and market intelligence. Researchis fast-paced, demanding and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidateswho possess strong accounting, finance, quantitative and businesswriting/communication skills, as well as modeling, forecasting, and valuationexperience.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities,including:
• Heavy emphasis on quantitative skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• 3-5 years of experience in research orinvestment banking; knowledge of the consumer industry, ideally the householdproducts sector
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate within ateam environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meetdeadlines in a dynamic environment
• Advanced level of proficiency in Excel
• A CFA, or progress toward a CFA, is a plus
