Senior PM/Analyst

Job Details: Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for stock selection in Large-Cap Core portfolio and Senior Research Analyst conducting in-depth research of mid- and large-cap stocks across the entire Financial sector.  Responsible for managing a coverage universe of 10-20 stocks as well as generating new investment ideas for multiple large-cap strategies.  Light travel required.  

Firm: Los Angeles based mid-sized manager for both domestic equity and fixed income. Firm specialty is income oriented investments. Clients are almost exclusively individuals (personal, IRA, trusts), either SMA or WRAP.*

Minimum Qualifications: Experience as a dedicated equity analyst covering Financials with 5-10 years of buy-side or sell-side equity research experience.  Large-cap portfolio manager with a minimum of 5 years of GIPS compliant performance record, either as sole or co-portfolio manager.

Education: Bachelor’s required, MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.

Certificates: CFA preferred.
