Financial Advisory (FA) practice of Deloitte China provides strategic and financial advisory services to clients throughout all phases of the economic cycle. FA comprises several distinct but related global service lines whose shared principal objective is the creation and enhancement of shareholder and stakeholder value.
Valuation and Modelling Services guide and advise clients on valuation methodologies and provide valuation advisory services relating to business interests. These include intellectual property, intangible assets, common and preferred stock and other securities, partnership interests, employee stock option plans (ESOPs), private debt instruments, options, warrants, and other derivative products relevant to our clients.

• Perform independent valuations for various types of financial instruments including options, warrants, fixed income securities,
structured products and other derivatives.
• Conduct market research, data mining, sensitivity analysis, stress testing, and back testing related to financial instrument
• Draft reports for manager review ,ensure compliance with Deloitte policies and quality/performance standards
• Assist our practice in business development work, such as proposal preparation and part of the team for bidding of global /
regional opportunities.
• Assist in identification, assessment and resolution of issues / problems.
• Support our other lines of services as appropriate and necessary.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with major in quantitative finance, financial engineering or science is an advantage. Other majors
in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or MBA and with quantitative aptitude would also be considered.
• 2-3 years' relevant experiences (candidates with less than 2 years' relevant experience will be considered for Associate
• Experience in valuation of various type of financial instruments such as currency swaps, interest rate swaps and credit OTC
derivatives, equity options and futures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, familiar with financial Instrument pricing software such as Bloomberg, Reuters, FINCAD,
Stata, etc
• Advanced knowledge with one or several of the following programming languages: VBA, Matlab.
• Professional qualification of CFA / HKICPA/ CICPA / FRM or other equivalent overseas qualifications would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business
writing, good documentation and presentation skills. A third language skill would be an advantage.
