The Role
An excellent opportunity has recently arisen within the London Risk team to utilise their skills. The candidate will be responsible for covering large corporates and financial institutions, primarily for MENA, European and UK clients. The role will involve carrying out fundamental credit analysis on new credit proposals from the Front Office, as well as ongoing credit monitoring on the bank's existing portfolio.

The successful candidate must have excellent knowledge and experience in supporting management by assisting with more junior credit analysts within the team whilst working on complex credit analysis.

The role will focus on analysis of loan applications for credit approval, providing structuring, covenant and pricing recommendations as well as feedback on the key credit risk. Delivery of transaction support including making input into loan documentation and ensuring that loan documentation complies with credit approvals.

Extensive knowledge and broad experience of corporate banking in lending or related activities with a deep understanding of risks and mitigations across different industries, countries and clients' type. Strong credit evaluation experience using quantitative and qualitative methods is required.

Systems Experience
Strong understanding of systems including CMS, Fermat, SNL, Moody's Risk Calculator and Moody's Risk Advisor are key to the role.

Qualifications
You will hold a Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent and ideally have a globally recognized post-graduate qualification in Credit or Risk with an institute of bankers or similar professional associateship or fellowship from a globally recognized institute such as CFA, FRM, MBA or MSC.
