LCA’s primary investment focus is in Infrastructure, Private Equity, Mexican Public Equities and Real-Estate companies. With a value investing approach and a long-term horizon, we seek to acquire controlling positions playing an active role in setting the direction of our portfolio companies.
Responsibilities: The individual will be involved in the following critical activities in the areas of Real Estate, Private Equity and Capital Markets:
▪ Analyze and conduct comprehensive industry and company due diligence on direct private and public investment opportunities
▪ Build, maintain and modify discounted cash flow, LBO, multiple-based and comparable transaction valuation models
▪ Prepare investment memorandums and present recommendations and due diligence findings to internal committees
▪ Partner with legal and fiscal counsel to review deal terms, as well as negotiate and execute investment transactions
▪ Collaborate with portfolio company executive teams to strengthen operating plans and budgets, explore strategic alternatives, develop pricing schemes and actively participate as Board observer

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements: The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance preferred
▪ 1 – 2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or commercial lending experience as an Analyst or intern
▪ CFA preferred, or in process of obtaining
▪ Strong quantitative skills and analytical ability
▪ Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
▪ English proficiency
▪ Advanced Excel skills
▪ Ability to work both independently and as a productive member of transaction teams
▪ Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
▪ High degree of integrity and discretion
▪ Dedicated work ethic and commitment to enhancing a team and goal-oriented environment
▪ Outstanding organization, decision making and problem-solving skills
▪ Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and priorities
▪ Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to work for a dynamic and successful organization
