What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will provide direction and support to a team of Pricing Analysts focusing on security pricing and client instructions which impact valuations, and client statements. You will ensure all client deliverables are met, implement client specific requirements, and develop workable customized solutions for clients as required. In addition, you will ensure that all securities are priced where possible and delivered in order to meet our client needs and supported via various Service Level Agreements (SLA), Controls and Procedures, and Quality Plus.

In addition, your responsibilities include training, streamlining processes where required and staff management. You will be the key point of contact for clients for clarification of instructions.

What will you do?
  • Analyze and approve all reports generated for all pricing activity from centralized database as well as the individual custody platforms
  • Research, review and analyze alternate sources other than the existing pricing suppliers for price data on non-exchange and thinly traded securities residing on the database
  • Provide a high level of service by responding to all client inquiries within a reasonable timeframe in order to maintain the company's image and strengthen client retention
  • Review/monitor all pricing issues to ensure timely follow up and resolution
  • Challenge prices and methodology in order to ensure accurate pricing are reflected and communicate to our clients
  • Liaise with various business units to ensure a consist approach to pricing is being maintained
  • Track, recommend and implement adjustments to workflow to ensure deliverables are being met
  • Support team members on operational, system and compliance/policy issues to ensure deliverables are met

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • University degree with CFA credentials
  • 2-3 years financial services experience
  • Completed Canadian Securities Course
  • Good understanding of domestic and global investment markets
  • MS Office skills and good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively & efficiently under pressure
