Business Background:

This Opportunity is within Asia Volatility Trading Product Control team (covering Flow, Exotic & Corporate trading business). The product control team reports trading P&L to business. The main duty of product controller is to maintain the integrity of the P&L reported, ensure the correct P&L attribution and substantiate adjustments and provisions. The role is a product controller for the Equity Derivatives business, which provides various types of financial products for clients and for the associated hedging activity.

Products include:
• Options, Warrants, Equity-linked Notes, Swaps, Stocks, Exchange Traded Funds and Futures
• Across all Asia Pacific markets
The key responsibilities of the Product Control team are:
• Production and reporting of the daily P&L and risk management information
• Understand and review P&L components (Greeks) daily.
• First point of contact for the Trading Business for all Finance related queries
• Able to analyze and answer ad hoc queries on P&L and Balance Sheet
• Additional liaison with the other finance teams of financial control and external reporting, middle office areas of Operations, valuation control, technology development groups and point of contact for all downstream issues.
• Manage projects and initiatives related to all of the above as well as larger cross-business initiatives
• Be an active part of the team, coming up with ideas and suggestions for improvements etc.


• University graduate with degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong excel skills is a must, VBA knowledge would be a plus
• CPA or CFA partly or completed or a plus
• Excellent communications skills. Must be able to communicate with senior traders daily that are demanding and require responses that are accurate, precise and efficient.
• High level of attention to detail
