The Strategy and M&A team is a key corporate function which ensures a number of critical missions including :
- M&A : support identification of potential M&A targets across the Group, prepare presentations to the relevant
Investment Committees, coordinate due diligences and support SPA/APA negotiations
- Strategy : support Group Management and Group Executive Committee in performing selected strategic reviews and

looking for new key initiatives to deliver additional long-term COP impact
Job Responsibilities :
Drives all M&A activities of the KBL Group including :

- Identifying potential targets in line with the group's development strategy

- Performing financial analysis and valuation of acquisition opportunities

- Participating to the coordination and execution of M&A transactions (origination, due diligence, contract negotiations, etc)

- Managing the external advisers (investment bankers, accountants, tax specialists...)

- Reviewing and summarising due diligence findings

- Supporting the communication and reporting of the M&A activity to the group's governance bodies

Make analysis and high quality presentations for Senior Management on miscellaneous topics such as (non exhaustive) :

- Updating the Group's financial and strategic plan as well as the Group's transformation roadmap

- Constantly looking for new initiatives to deliver additional COP impact

- Building and/or reviewing adhoc strategic business cases
Qualifications :
- BAC+ 5 in Finance or Economics
- CFA or other similar qualifications are a plus
- Minimum 5 year experience in M&A with minimum 2 year experience in an Investment Bank
- Knowledge in all areas of Finance including financial analyses and modeling
- Excellent command of PowerPoint, good command of other MS Office tools
- Advanced knowledge of a datawarehouse software, ideally Business Object
Skills :

- Attention to detail and planning
- Good interpersonal skills enabling to communicate and influence at all levels of the company
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical skills
Languages :
- A perfect command of French and English, the knowledge of any other languages will be an asset (preferably German or Dutch)
