Company Description

Our client, a well-regarded asset manager, is seeking an Institutional Sales to cover Thailand and SEA region. Reporting to the regional head of sales, the successful candidate will be based in HK regional office.

  • Develop and drive business development activities with particular focus on institutional owners (including government, pension funds, etc) and wealth management channels in Thailand and SEA region
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and prospects in order to identify clients' needs
  • Promote the firm's various investment strategies across different asset classes, and present portfolio updates and market outlook during investment review meetings
  • Work closely with fund managers and product specialists at regional / global offices in order to formulate suitable investment solutions for clients

  • University graduate in Finance, Economics or related disciplines
  • Qualification in CFA or MBA is highly preferable
  • At least five years of experience in asset management or financial industry with a good track record in business development, asset gathering at institutional level
  • Prior experience serving SWF / central banks is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge on full spectrum of asset classes (including fixed income, equities, alternatives, etc)
  • Fluency in English is a must. Thai language skills would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Flexible to travel extensively
