As an Investment Advisory Research Analyst -  Equity with Frost Investment Advisors LLC (FIA), you will be responsible for performing complex research duties drawing from both fundamental and quantitative capabilities. FIA is a Skilled Based Equity Manager which provides actively managed strategies across Growth, Value, Mid Cap and Dividend Income styles. Performing Company and Industry level analysis is a prerequisite. Responsibilities will include evaluating how different stocks might fit within a strategy ensuring investment quality adheres to The Advisor’s, investment policies and meets regulatory as well as compliance requirements at all times. Teamwork, collegiality and working within the Frost Culture is an imperative. Working closely with and assisting senior staff with their many portfolio management responsibilities is key for the successful incumbent. The candidate will assist with supporting industry sectors and conducting comprehensive fundamental analysis. Further, quantitative skills are a must with the desire and aptitude to utilize and learn Bloomberg, FactSet, Fi-tek and other investment related systems. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer application
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • 1 plus years’ experience within the investment management industry
  • Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA, designation in progress.
  • MBA Degree
