- To facilitate automation of reporting, checks and controls to ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy of performance statistics.
- Support management information need for timely updates, presentation and analysis of portfolio and fund manager performance.
- Supervise the performance analysts in day to day operations and meeting deadlines
- Take ownership and responsibility for sign off of performance results ensuring performance is accurate, consistent and in line with best practice and industry standards in terms of methodology and calculation
- Create and implement new ideas to deliver performance statistics in a robust manner to Senior Management and Fund Managers
- Ensure process efficiency from data prep to reporting and promote further automation and streamlining of processes
- Ensure operational procedures are fully up to date, complete and in line with best practice and meet the Office's best practice standard
- Assist Head of Middle Office in project initiatives that include PM metrics and BI tool
- Attend all business support meetings that involve Middle Office
- To liaise with Office Investment departments and other staff as required
- Dealing with and responding in a timely manner to queries from the business and ensure business needs are promptly met
Successful candidates will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree and relevant professional qualification such as CFA / CIMP
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in an investment performance measurement environment together with relevant experience in investment management
- A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity of a small team
- Established knowledge of using BI tool and MI dashboard
- All round product knowledge of asset classes and multi-currency portfolio
- Strong governance awareness of policy and procedure
- Organised, meticulous and target driven
- Project experience
- Excellent communicator
