Investment Writer

The role will be responsible for the written output that is required to support the sales and account management for the portfolios. The responsibilities include preparation of presentations, analyzing funds, markets and stocks, reviewing of marketing literature relating to the equities strategies under coverage. The incumbent will work closely with investment teams as well as client portfolio teams.

To succeed in this role you will require the following demonstrable skills and attributes:

• At least 2 years of investment communications/ editorial background preferably with asset management industry/ financial industry experience
• CFA, MBA qualification or other secondary business-related degree preferred
• Strong investment knowledge with a good understanding of the investment process
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Good up-to-date knowledge of Asian markets and the ability to conduct market analysis
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret performance data and to write commentaries around the data
• High attention to detail is essential
• Ability to manage multiple relationships internally
• Ability to multi-task across numerous responsibilities and projects
• Strong verbal presentation skills
