This role is focused on portfolio risk and will be responsible for delivering in-depth analysis of key drivers of risks across a large multi asset class portfolio. The role involves collaborating with a variety of key stakeholders to monitor portfolios and markets, test new investment ideas, identify and analyse the impact of emerging and thematic risks, and to deliver detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting. The Senior Investment Analyst will also contribute to the development and enhancement of internal models to support the broader investment team.

The role provides an opportunity to collaborate with talented colleagues in a supportive environment focused on delivering investment outcomes for members.

The successful applicant will have an understanding of risk management frameworks, with experience in the formulation and application of risk appetite statements and risk budgets in the context of investment management; extensive experience in quantitative portfolio risk measures and methodologies, with continuous awareness of advances in risk management theory and practice and a foundation of investment knowledge, including a proficient understanding of capital markets, both listed and unlisted investments, and various investment security analytics.

Tertiary qualifications in a finance, investments, statistics, economics or related discipline and Postgraduate quals including Actuarial or CFA would be well regarded.
