Position Summary:

Reporting into the Vice President, the Associate will be focused on investor relations and communications activities for the private funds managed by the Infrastructure Group . This includes involvement in the development, implementation and reporting of IR strategies, as well as preparing materials and logistics for client meetings and roadshows. In addition, the Associate will partake and assist with various aspects of raising capital for new fund offerings and co-investments within the Infrastructure Group's private funds business.

Responsibilities:
  • Take a leadership role in developing and maintaining investor communications and related processes
  • Manage inquiries from private fund investors by utilizing all internal and external resources to provide responses to all routine and non-routine questions
  • Work alongside senior leadership to coordinate strategic initiatives with key investors
  • Manage the preparation and dissemination of IR materials (investor communications and updates, investor reporting, presentations etc.) and internal communications materials (investment committee memos, investor updates, etc.) for major transactions and capital raising initiatives
  • Collaborate with other business groups to identify best practices to ensure quality and consistency of IR materials, data, figures and processes
  • Prepare for quarterly conference calls/webcasts with investors, including reviewing event transcripts
  • Assist with strategic initiatives across other IR functions within the infrastructure group
  • Support the broader team on special projects and events, including Annual Private Funds Investor Conferences or process improvements

Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in Business/Finance, with an excellent academic background
  • At least (3) three years of relevant work experience
  • Exposure or an interest in the asset management sector or an understanding of private equity investment structures, financial reporting metrics, and institutional investors
  • A professional designation in Accounting or Finance (such as CPA or CFA) strongly preferred
  • Superior communication skills (written and oral) and ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines
