Position Summary
The Portfolio Management team is responsible for the overall strategy and performance of BPG's Core Plus Funds, and it leverages the operating capabilities and market knowledge of Brookfield's broader operating platforms to drive value creation and manage risk. The team interacts with the acquisitions, asset management, leasing, legal, property operations and finance and accounting teams on a daily basis in order to manage the Funds. The Analyst will directly assist the Fund Portfolio Manager in executing the strategy of the Funds.

Portfolio Analytics
- Coordinate with asset managers to submit and review quarterly appraisals
- Manage the Fund model and perform Fund and client-specific analysis
- Model projections for portfolio construction and risk analysis
- Prepare portfolio specific presentations for senior Brookfield executives and various external constituents
New Investments
- Analyze the cash flow and fund composition impacts that new investments will have on the Fund
- Research new markets and coordinate necessary research to support investment decisions
- Work with operating platforms and BPG investment teams to evaluate, advance and execute acquisitions and dispositions on behalf of the fund
Investor Relations
- Review and edit the quarterly reports to investors
- Assist marketing and investor relations teams with Fund-specific inquiries
- Be attuned to and articulate in investors' key sensitivities
- Contribute to marketing materials
- Contribute to the preparation and presentation of quarterly Fund updates that assess the Fund's performance
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1-2 years of business experience, preferably in the real estate investment management industry
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- CFA or working towards designation
- Superb communication skills - written and oral
- Client service attitude
- Proficient with computers and software packages, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Team player, collaborative, able to work well with others
- Self-starter, takes initiative
