Market Job Description

Wells Fargo Asset Management has a new opportunity for a Intermediary Sales Representative who will primarily be selling UCITS funds and sub-advisory/separate accounts to Financial Institutions across French-speaking European countries, working closely with the Leadership team and independently achieving annual sales goals.

(Note: In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required).

This role is deemed a FCA Controlled Function.
  • The primary areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:
  • Selling UCITS funds, separate accounts and sub-advisory mandates to platforms and professional investors such as banks, private banks, family offices, wealth managers, fund of funds, insurance companies (intermediary business only) across selected French speaking Europe countries, independently achieving your annual sales goals.
  • Work closely with Leadership team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategy for the selected French speaking Europe countries
  • Drive sales and marketing activities for the selected French speaking Europe countries working closely with Leadership team
  • Build Wells Fargo Asset Management brand awareness in Europe.
  • Partnering with investment professionals and other sales team members as well with Wells Fargo's GFI (Global Financial Institutions) team to ensure successful sales and marketing initiatives.


Market Skills and Certifications

  • Educated to degree level preferred (or equivalent). MBA/CFA qualified is a preference.
  • Previous proven track record in selling asset management strategies/funds to financial institutions clients preferably in selected French speaking European countries.
  • Established relationships with Fund Platforms, Fund of Funds, IFA platforms, private banks, wealth managers and other wholesale entities.
  • Proven financial institutions sales and marketing success with impeccable ethical standards, as well as in-depth industry/product knowledge.
  • Well-organised, independent, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding, flexible team player with ability to effectively work through multiple business channels.
