VP Performance Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Answer any query on fund and/or benchmark returns, asset returns or attribution results.
• Review performance and portfolio analytics for use in client reports
• Attend to requests from fund managers, client portfolio managers, sales & marketing on performance and attribution
• Enhance control framework and incident management workflow
• Ensure all new procedures are documented and agreed.
• Identify and execute continuous process improvement and automation

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in performance analysis, risk analysis or similar role
• Understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies and risk analytics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex formulas and financial instruments (eg: derivatives)
• Strong knowledge of Excel with knowledge in VBA programming an advantage
• CIPM (or CFA Level II) is preferred Experience in using Morningstar Direct is an advantage
• Language skills - English required, fluency in one or more Asian languages will be a plus.
