We help on a wide variety of financial and valuation issues, as well as develop and test financial models, model risk scenarios, validate expertise across various financial areas, and deliver comprehensive analytics addressing client finance issues. Our team is responsible for gathering and distributing market information that supports all sectors and lines of service. Our team provides automated technology solutions to complex problems by analysing, evaluating and testing client data.

Responsibilities

As an Associate, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
  • Prepare deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of your own and teams technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
  • Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

Before starting with PwC full time, will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for the appropriate practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :
Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in an individual contributor role assisting in the performance of fund audits as it relates to documenting consistency with GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards) audit standards and testing requirements. Demonstrates some knowledge of CFA Institute's GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards) as it relates to compliance and performance standards verification, including some knowledge of assisting in the training of staff on GIPS auditing standards and testing requirements. Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in an individual contributor role collaborating on client engagements and audit teams on GIPS compliance reviews.

Demonstrates some ability to analyze client data to leverage and utilize proprietary software, as well as research and report exceptions, when performing and evaluating fund audits. Demonstrates some ability to identify and address client needs, identifying and resolving issues related to GIPS compliance analyses, including contributing significant value in related analyses discussions. Demonstrates some ability to develop strategy; as well as write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management.
