Institutional Equity Research Associate, E&P

Primary duties consist of, but not limited to:

• Financial modeling and analysis
• Maintaining and developing databases and spreadsheets, as well as use of Energy industry specific software
• Monitoring capital markets and the Energy industry
• Researching firms, industries, and other components for analysis
• Aid in the research publication process
• Preparing marketing materials
• Formatting and proof reading of documents

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Geology
• Interest in or current pursuit of the CFA designation
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Knowledge of geoSCOUT and/or VBA experience would be an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated and excellent attention to detail
• Able to work within a team environment for extended hours (full-time position)
