What is the opportunity?
As an Analyst within the Performance Measurement team you will provide timely and accurate performance and analytics reports to an assigned book of institutional clients. In this role you will regularly perform portfolio reconciliation and analysis as well as rates of return verification.
In support of New Business Initiatives and Client Advisory Services, you will construct reporting solutions for new and existing clients. In addition, the analyst will receive cross-training with the Investment Compliance team and support their reporting deliverables.

What will you do?
- Complete performance and analytics reporting for an assigned client base of pension plans and asset manager products.
- Reconcile portfolio data and communicate with money managers, clients and custody groups to resolve any portfolio discrepancies.
- Escalate, investigate and document discrepancies such as unexplained market value shifts, corporate actions issues and incorrect data fields.
- Manage workload to ensure timeliness of collection and processing of data and printing of reports.
- Investigate and solve issues regarding the calculated rates of return.
- Action ad-hoc research/reports and special assignments as requested
- Support the Investment Compliance team with their daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Minimum of 3 years back office experience within the investment industry
- Minimum of 2 years financial reporting/accounting custody experience
- Enrolled to challenge CFA level 1 at a minimum
Nice-to-have
- Successful completion of CIPM / CFA level 1
- University degree (Finance or Business)
