What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will lead the Private Capital Services Operations team responsible for cash processing, transaction management, portfolio valuations and reporting for asset owners with private capital investments such as Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and Private Debt. You will monitor private capital investments across the lifecycle for our clients, and will have an understanding of end to end processes to continuously improve our service offering.
In addition, you will establish an environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiencies and quality within the departments facilitating a key component in supporting RBC I&TS' Client Service offering.

What will you do?
- Lead Private Capital Operations team to deliver and continuously improve efficiency and quality our of private capital services offering, including cash processing, portfolio valuations and reporting
- Take a hands on approach to ensure an efficient operational working environment with clear processes and metrics
- Implement quality and productivity improvements aimed at increasing both the accuracy and efficiency of service delivery
- Ongoing review of existing procedures to ensure that risk issues are effectively anticipated and mitigated
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the team to achieve superior individual and team results
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Between 5 to 7 years in a similar position, with experience in private capital
- A degree in accounting (CPA) or Finance (CFA)
- Strong leadership capabilities with strong management, analytical and organizational skills
- Strong business acumen and client focus
- A background in shareholder services (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and Private Debt)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and networking abilities with clients, industry associations and business leaders
Nice-to-have
- Experience with ILPA reporting would be an asset
